Leah Jones creates individualistic clothing and wearable art pieces for women wanting to look and feel different. She takes her direction from nature and the interconnectedness of all things and this dictates her good sense in combining colours and textiles, creating textures and one off designs – a look that is distinctly hers.

Her garments express her love of texture, layering, colour and shapes.  Leah uses traditional felt and nuno felt as the basis for her broad range of vests and jackets which she has been making for 5 years.  In 2005 she expanded her range of clothing to create complimentary garments for the discerning and individual woman. From a simple cottonknit wrap top to a complex five pannelled wrap skirt, from a hat and bag to an elaborate wedding dress, from a theatrical mask to a complicated costume or wearable art piece, Leah does it all.

Leah launched her garment label “Wise woman wearables” in 2005.

The above is a 3 piece outfit: the skirt is made from a range of fabrics including cheniling, silks and cottons. The vest is made from cotton thread and stitch and the top is a stretch knit enhanced with buttons and lace.
